Donation Stations are a Gameplay Mechanic in Fortnite: Battle Royale. The mechanic was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 8.
Description
Description[]
Donation Stations can be interacted with by the player to contribute to a global goal, alongside donations from other players. Players can donate 50 Bars at a time to aid the donation effort, receiving 3 Small Shield Potions per donation. Players can donate as many Bars as they want, until they have less than a multiple of 50.
The UI will show a global percentage tracker of how close the donation goal is, with a percentage rounded to two decimal places (0.01%). Once the donation reaches 100%, the reward will be unlocked for all players, live in game.

- Update v20.00: Reintroduced Donation Stations.
- March 23rd 2022: The Armored Battle Bus at the Sanctuary was successfully funded.
- March 24th 2022: The Armored Battle Bus at Synapse Station was successfully funded.
- March 25th 2022: The Seven Anti-Vehicle Turret has been successfully funded over the Seven Anti-Personnel Turret at the Sanctuary.
- Update v20.10: Players can now choose between the Legacy Combat Assault Rifle and the MK-Seven Assault Rifle.
- April 8th 2022: The MK-Seven Assault Rifle has won over the Legacy Combat Assault Rifle and has been unvaulted.

- For the Turret and Salvaged B.R.U.T.E. Stations, percentage trackers were exclusive to each board, meaning 100% of the funding had to be done at each location to complete the donation.
- On introduction, Donation Stations would remain at 0.01%, despite being donated to by many players.
- This was later fixed with a hotfix.
- J.B. Chimpanski gave a Quest which required players to donate to a Donation Station.
- This quest was temporarily auto-completed, as well as the Questline disabled shortly after the Rift-to-Go vs Shockwave Launcher goal.
- The Quest was then completely changed to just Spending Bars in Update v18.21.
- Despite dialogue referring to the weapon as a choice to be 'Unvaulted', the Shockwave Launcher was a new weapon added to the game, enabled by the Donation Station.
- A similar weapon, Kit's Shockwave Launcher was in the Vault, but the weapon has a different rarity, name and statistics.
- A similar mechanic to the Donation Station is Community Choice, which allowed players to directly interact with the game to choose the introduction of something, however in its case, it was an Outfit Bundle.
- The Unvaulting Event also had a similar mechanic as players can choose which items to unvault. However, it was a single round with a choice of 6 items.
- When the donation hits 100%, a tune will play nearby the Donation Stations and 4 Legendary items, which were chosen to be unvaulted, will spawn next to each Station.
- When the Salvaged B.R.U.T.E. hit 100%, the board disappeared and spawned sandbags, and the Salvaged B.R.U.T.E. tied to it's specific board spawned similarly to how it's Season X counterpart did and landed in the middle of it's sandbag-marked spawn zone.
