- In Fortnite: China, his "SHADOW" edit style lacks the skeletal detailing on his sleeves and he has the mask off, unlike Jules, who has the skull removed.
- Brutus was the first of the season's Bosses to pick a side between GHOST and SHADOW.
- When meeting Jules, she will call Brutus a traitor. She is referencing to Brutus resigning from SHADOW, the faction she belongs/belonged to. This could reference a scene from Julius Caesar, where Julius recognizes that Marcus Brutus had joined the conspiracy faction against him.
- This is supported by Brutus donning his GHOST uniform for the Chapter 2: Season 3 story trailer.
- The Security Guards in The Big Bang Live Event use a slightly modified NPC Outfit of Brutus. Featuring his Default head on his China SHADOW attire with SECURITY written on his back.
- Their Event ID is Character_HenchmanToughDark_Strong.
- In Chapter 5: Season 1, on a small island on the north eastern corner of the island Helios, there are many references to Chapter 2, with multiple of them being to the Agents of C2S2, including Brutus. Here you can find his GHOST uniform's helmet, partially buried in the sand.

Chapter 2: Season 2[]
Brutus guards The Grotto with Grotto Henchmen as a neutral agent. He later joins SHADOW with his henchmen, in turn, also converting to SHADOW.
Chapter 2: Season 3[]
After the flood, Brutus wears his GHOST uniform and goes to The Fortilla. He has a fight with Ocean, which he loses. Ocean keeps his helmet as a trophy and paints over it.
The Authority depicts portraits of him in his SHADOW uniform next to an unnamed woman.
Chapter 2: Season 5[]
Following the fizzled end to the GHOST and SHADOW faction war with both factions offline, Brutus went into business for himself as a buyer, seller, and builder of weapons. He appeared to have been popular, as he had made contact with several other inhabitants on the island at the time, including The Reaper, a competitor in the arms business who didn't seem to like him. In his escapades, he also made contact with Menace, a gladiator interested in working for him.
During this time, he also was interested in fishing, aspired to be "top fisher".
Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point[]
A snapshot of Brutus in his SHADOW suit can be seen fighting Harley Quinn and DJ Yonder.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
During the Cosmic Summer Celebration, he goes on vacation as Beach Brutus and is seen talking to Ruby on a beach, with his "former" boss Midas. He stays on the Island for a small while, proclaiming he is on vacation, and not seeming to mind the Alien Invasion - though he indicates the only reason he does not seem to care much is strictly because he is on vacation. In truth, he had been reactivated by Midas and was on an undercover mission with him, Jules, Crystal and Ruby. After the Summer ends, Midas gives Brutus control of Midas' crew before disappearing.
Chapter 4: Season 2[]
Brutus appears throughout Rift Encounter as a member of SHADOW again, training in martial arts. He offers his services as a mercenary.
Chapter 5: Season 1[]
Brutus' GHOST helmet appears washed up to shore on an island near Breezy Coast, next to a ball of yarn from Catty Corner.
Chapter 5: Season 2[]
Marigold suspects that Midas is somewhere on the Island, so she calls Brutus and the rest of Midas' Crew back together.
It's revealed that Midas has been trapped in The Underworld. After escaping, he suspects that Brutus has betrayed him, so he sends the Looper to confirm Brutus' loyalty. The Looper finds that Brutus has remained loyal, and so he rejoins the other Agents and hands control of Midas' crew back to Midas.

- Several easter eggs concerning Brutus refer to Marcus Junius Brutus, one of the close friends of Julius Caesar who participated in the plot of his assassination.
- The relationship of Jules and Brutus, broken because of the betrayal of the later after leaving SHADOW for GHOST recalls the betrayal of Marcus Junius Brutus towards Julius Caesar.
- Rise of Midas Quests second part "Et tu, Brutus?" reference the famous quote "Et tu, Brute?" of Julius Caesar when he is assassinated in William Shakespear's play The Tragedy of Julius Ceasar.
- The Oracle already encountered Brutus in the past, as she recognized him, asking him "Is that you, Brutus?".
- Marcus Junius Brutus is often referred as simply "Brutus" instead of his fullname.
