- — Homer Simpson
Homer Jay Simpson is the dim-witted patriarch of the Simpson family and a resident of Springfield Island who works as a safety inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. After coming across a shard of the Zero Point that crashed into his home, Homer became reckless with its reality warping abilities, plunging all of Springfield into chaos.
He is a major character in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist of Chapter 6: Mini Season 2 before becoming a supporting protagonist by Zero Hour.
Personality
Personality[]
Homer is an extremely moronic individual exhibiting behavior that borderlines on either clumsiness, laziness, immaturity, impulsivity, delusion, or a combination of said traits, among others. In his own words, he is a man "with no sense of personal limits".
Homer is a huge foodie known for his junk food cravings, especially with frosted sprinkled donuts. After learning to somewhat control the power of the Zero Point Shard, his first instinct was to transmute the objects in his home into various parcels of food, turning his lamp into a bucket of fried chicken and his pillow into a plate of nachos. If he sees something that resembles a donut, Homer immediately thinks of the pink frosted sprinkled donut and not much else. Even when dealing with omniscient power and a vat of radioactive waste, Homer pounced to grab a piece of candy that had been lying beside a nuclear core containing said waste, which ended up in him tripping and falling right into it.
Even after repeated usage of the Shard's reality-bending capabilities, Homer displayed an unwillingness to slow down despite warnings from Hope and The Looper to relinquish the Shard due to its ancient and chaotic nature, becoming defensive over his usage of the Zero Point Shard in the belief that he was using it to make Springfield a better place. He has become delusional to this, struggling to comprehend why the people of Springfield turned on him after he created a destructive food rain with the Shard Remote.
When he is not putting the town in danger, Homer is well-known and liked by most of his fellow Springfielders, and he reserves great care for his family, particularly his wife Marge. While embiggened by the effects of the Zero Point Shard, Homer is shown to be terrified of his colossal size and how his interactions with his wife and family wouldn't be the same because of it, indicating that he has coherent thought in this form albeit with a hindered ability to speak in complete sentences.
Appearance
Appearance[]
Homer appears as a middle-aged overweight man with barely any hair on his scalp. When his essence was split into clones following a radioactive incident with the Zero Point Shard, Homer began radiating a pink glow as he became virtually mindless, akin to a zombie. As a kaiju, Homer is bare naked with the exception of a pair of white underwear.

Chapter 6: Season 4[]
Welcome, Our Alien Overlords[]
At his home, Homer was relaxing on the couch in his living room as he tried to turn the TV on with an uncooperative remote. Suddenly, a glowing pink crystal crashed into his window from the sky and landed right at his feet, just as Marge was telling him to call the police if he finds such an object. She warns Homer about the Shard by describing it as "alien, uncontrollable, immensely powerful and deadly", but Homer only makes out the word "powerful" from her message, leading him to switch out the remote's batteries and slot the Shard in its place. This creates a powerful device that Homer begins to play with, aiming it at various objects in his home before realizing that the device can manipulate reality.
Marge walks in as he was experimenting with reality manipulation, finding that Homer had greatly improved the couch and transmuted other furniture pieces into food. Although Marge raises concerns about Homer's intentions with the Shard's power, he wins her over by using the remote on himself to change his hairstyle, and is encouraged to "go wild". Thus, he sets off to turn Springfield into "nirvana" using the remote.
On his way to Moe's Tavern, Homer used the remote to improve the lives of Springfield's residents, such as turning an apple tree into a bowling ball tree, a parking meter into a coin dispenser, and a fire hydrant into a chocolate syrup fountain to delight a firefighter. At Moe's, Homer learns that Jones and Hope, described by Moe as two "out-of-town dung balls", were looking for him in regards to the Shard.
Chapter 6: Mini Season 2[]
After arriving in that unknown world completely twisted by Homer's reckless use of the Shard Remote, Hope, Jones and The Looper began to "clean up the mess", drawing the ire of the residents who are on the side of the changes made by Homer. After trying to talk to Homer for him to give up the Shard, he refused but offered to reconsider if they deliver a new flavor of Squishee from Kwik-E-Mart to him and that the mayor granted him an audience. After the delivery, The Looper went to the Town Hall to "raise concerns", fulfilling their tasks. However, Homer betrayed his word and decided to keep the Shard to continue his mission of "achieving nirvana in Springfield".
Back at the Simpson residence, Professor Frink informs Homer about the shard embedded in TV remote, stating it possesses Zero Point energy, which is the most dangerous force in the Omniverse. Frink can study it for fame, science, and, especially, Nobel Prizes. However, Homer tells him to wait as he must make Springfield into a paradise, when Frinks asks what he can do more after Homer transformed his robo-caller into a lady-bot, Homer, inspired by a ring-shaped cloud, uses the shard to create raining giant food, consisting of donuts, pizza and pie slices, and fried chicken drumsticks, to feed the whole community of Springfield.
Impressed, Frinks told Homer he could keep the Shard, but was disappointed he had nothing to present for the Nobels. So Homer transformed him into a Peelfessor Frink. After some time, however, instead of improving Springfield into a paradise, he is causing chaos here, creating Donut Storms that rain down supersized donuts upon many residents and buildings. Therefore, his actions catch up to him as the townspeople, including Moe Szyslak, Krusty the Clown, Ned Flanders, and Professor Frink, gathered around at town square to put a stop to it.
After reading the townsfolks' complaints given by The Looper, he tried to dispose of the Zero Point Shard by throwing it into the nuclear core pool at the Power Plant and then planned to accuse Lenny of his mess in order to cover his tracks. As he rests here, he tries to get a half-eaten candy bar at the edge of the pool, but he accidentally falls into the pool, sinking to his doom. However, a reaction between the Zero Point energy and radiation emits a purple cloudy explosion and clones Homer in large numbers in which they begin to run amok around Springfield Island.
The Homer clones invade nearly every corner of Springfield, eventually reaching the streets of Evergreen Terrace and the doors of the Simpson house. Bart notices that whenever the Homer clones are vaporized, they dissolve into gases that contain a faint reminder of him. As the gases coalesce into a giant pink cloud, he and Lisa deduce that their dad's essence is within the clouds, and that they might be able to reach out to him. The children tried everything including their usual annoying antics, but Homer was unresponsive.
Running out of ideas, Bart and Lisa give up and join Hope and the rest of Springfield in cleansing the town of the Homer clones. Having accumulated enough essence from the eliminated clones, the pink cloud condenses and reconstitutes Homer as a kaiju version of himself, due to the effects of the Zero Point Shard inside of his body. Clueless to his surroundings, Homer immediately goes on a brief rampage before running for the waters off Springfield Island. Hope and the Simpson family catch up to him there to retrieve the Shard from Homer's stomach; Hope suggests that she vaporize Homer's frontal lobe to immobilize him and give way for a strike team operation up through his bowels, while Marge urges a more empathetic approach to coax the Shard out of her husband.
Hope uses a ray gun to fire a beam at Homer's brain to rather pathetic results, to which an annoyed Homer burps back at her, knocking her ray gun away. Hope is forced to go with Marge's plan, which sees the Looper collecting family photos from the Simpson house to decorate a billboard in Homer's line of sight. With the photos, the billboard (originally containing the message "DONUTS OUTLAWED - TV FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY) is covered up to spell out "DO IT FOR US". Homer notices the billboard and spits out the Zero Point Shard onto Springfield. Marge tells him that he needs to clean up the mess he created, to which Homer suggests using the Shard, but she tells him to leave it in Hope's care.
Zero Hour[]
Homer accepts Hope's invitation to travel to Oninoshima and help in the battle against the Dark Presence, just so he can avoid cleaning the gutters back home. After the Dark Presence is defeated, Homer returns to normal size before then being rifted back to Springfield by the Zero Point Shard.Springfield Stories
