Heavy Metal is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale, added on July 2nd, 2019.

This LTM is similar to a standard Battle Royale game, the primary difference being the loot and the storm. The storm will close in faster, making the time period for gathering loot a lot shorter than normal. Along with that, the weapons in this LTM are only items with the name Heavy in them.

- Heavy Assault Rifles are unvaulted for this LTM.
- Heavy Shotguns are unvaulted for this LTM.
- Heavy Sniper Rifles are unvaulted for this LTM.
- Stone and Metal resource rates are increased.
- Storms are faster.
