- Apollo is designed and named after his Mythological counterpart, the Greek god of the Sun, healing, dance, poetry, archery, prophecy and more.
- In Update v29.30, it was revealed Apollo retained a lot of them in Fortnite.
- Chapter 2’s Island was codenamed after him.
- Artemis, Apollo’s twin, was the codename of the Chapter 3 Island.
- Apollo is the second Pantheon-Themed set to release outside of the Myths and Mortals Battle Pass.

Apollo is the God of Sun, Music, Prophecy and more. He is a God of the Olympian Pantheon, son of Zeus and Leto, and the twin brother of Artemis.
He is a supporting character in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as a supporting protagonist in Chapter 5: Season 2.

History

Before Chapter 5[]
Apollo was born to Zeus, the King of the Gods and Leto. He is the younger twin brother of Artemis and as he grew up, became the consultant of the oracles and the Muses, overseeing every prophecy. Long ago, he chose someone to become his trusted Oracle. That Oracle, who used to be a mortal, became an immortal, and one day, both of them learned that Olympus' King, Zeus, would be overthrown by the hands of a mortal. Learning this, Zeus started to become wary of the mortals, becoming more and more distant, until wishing for their total annihilation, causing conflict within the Pantheon.[1]
Chapter 5: Season 2[]
He sees the movement against Zeus' plan, and agrees with Aphrodite, Poseidon and some of the other gods about the idea of the Mortals being spared and protected[2], but out of little desire to get involved in a battle that'll split the Pantheon, he continues his godly duties while he waits for the prophecy to be fulfilled[3] by The Looper with help from The Oracle and Hope.
Chapter 5: Season 3[]
Zeus has now been humbled and dethroned, and so the Pantheon are now free, scattered to the infinite corners of reality to search for new domains to rule over. After this battle for freedom and peace, Artemis tells her brother to take a vacation to rest his spirit for a while[4], where afterwards he too will be in search of a new domain away from the Island.
