Perseus is a Demigod son of Zeus, and Danae, a mortal woman. Perseus faced many challenges and dangers on his journey. As a hero, he was tasked by the gods with killing Medusa. But on the contrary, Perseus freed her and saved her.[2]
He is a supporting character in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as a supporting protagonist in Chapter 5: Season 2.
History

Before Chapter 5[]
Perseus has done many heroic deeds in the past.[3] He was told by the Gods that Medusa was a monster, and was tasked to kill her.[4] Instead, seeing how she was falsely accused for standing up against the Gods, he decided to save her life. They then became close allies.[2] Despite the plan not going as the Gods wanted, they spread false myths that Perseus has slayed Medusa.[5]
Chapter 5: Season 2[]
Perseus, now allied with Medusa, aims to stand against his father Zeus, protect the mortals from the god's wrath, and destroy the lies that the gods have brought into the world.[6] He therefore joined The Looper's team consisting of some Olympians and The Underground alongside Medusa to fight against the gods that sided with Zeus, such as Ares, ultimately dethroning the King of the Gods for good.
