Update v11.00[]

• Gnomes can be found as props in various locations on the island.
• A single gnome hides as part of Overtime Challenges.

Update v12.20[]

A single gnome has been imprisoned by The Ted Offensive, and espionage-based subsidiary of the Teddy Bears, whom they have now set conquest against.

Update v12.30[]

Several gnomes scout Weeping Woods with telescopes.

Update v12.50[]

The gnomes launch an assault against the Teddy Bears, who are doing the same thing. The Looper can interact and cease the battle should they choose to do so.

Update v13.00[]

They formed a truce with the Teddy Bears. Despite not being a faction at war anymore, the Gnomes remain a people with notable camaraderie among the other Fortnite mainstays.

• Previous gnomes on the island are no longer present.

All of the events this season could have been interacted with as part of Secret Challenges that would provide players with Season XP if they chose to do certain tasks.

Update v14.10[]

A small group of Gnomes meet up southwest of Apres Ski for "The GNOM Talk", a small conference with one unique gnome showcasing an alternative Slurp product: "Super Slurp Juice". The meeting was promoted by multiple mini posters and tiny billboards around the island. This "Super Slurp" seemed to be popular with the gnomes, but the event ended abruptly when a chemical reaction caused the unique gnome to blow up with its product.

Update v14.20[]

Shortly after the incident, "Super Slurp Juice" was looked downed upon. The posters and billboards previously displaying the conference were now sprayed over with graffiti. In Hydro 16, group of gnomes are found "discussing" the event behind closed doors, while the unique gnome (now a cyborg) hides and schemes in the basement of GHOST House. The lair is filled with multiple "Super Slurp Juice"-related objects, as well as mini three robot army, and a map with five points marked. The Cyborg Gnome's goal, it seems, was to use Super Slurp Juice as weaponized materials to blow up mapped locations around Apollo.
The Looper can intervene at said locations to disarm the aforementioned traps.

Update v14.30[]

The Cyborg Gnome has left many of their inventions hidden in Camp Cod. This is also likely around when said gnome began experimenting with the Slurp vats at Slurpy Swamp.

Update v14.40[]

The Looper may interfere with these plans as well, and "purify" the vats that have turned green from the Cyborg Gnome's experimentation. Confrontation afterwards led to them trying to blast off in a pseudo-escape attempt, which ultimately resulted in them perishing.

Update v14.50[]

A memorial is enacted to the Cyborg Gnome, and the Looper, as well as the other gnomes, can pay respects to the statue.

Update v16.20[]

A single gnome can be found in the cell of Sheriff's Office.

Update v16.30[]

More gnomes are added to the cell.

• A single gnome is perched upon the top of the antennae and FN Radio.
• Several gnomes are found waiting for the bus at Pleasant Park.

Update v18.10[]

Many more gnomes arrive to start breaking the imprisoned gnomes out of the jail cell in the Sherrif's Office.

All of the gnomes have escaped from the Landmark.

Update v18.30[]

The gnomes have traveled to Hydro 16 with supplies and canoes, with many of them in the swamp.

Update v18.40[]

Every previously mentioned gnome from the season has clustered at the edges of Apollo in canoes, seemingly in an escape attempt of the island. Other, newer gnomes have appeared at bus stops, such as the one in Retail Row. They were last seen escaping the Island via canoes around the edges of the Island.

With the return of Athena as a result of time travel, many things on the island have been altered. One such difference is the (re)appearance of the gnomes, some of which were already interacting with the Teddy Bears.

Update v32.00[]

With the return of Apollo come ten new locations Loopers may find gnomes, often with a teddy bear. Interacting with them will result in the completion of a Hidden Quest.
