Tips

Tips[]

Calculated - Emote - Fortnite This section outlines a strategy.
Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.
  • The mission ends early if all 9 Bonus Survivors are rescued.
  • A tier 3 reward Chest will be rewarded for maximum completion.
  • You can build wooden Survivor Radar Towers if you need help finding Survivors to rescue.
  • Husk spawns on the map are increased during this mission, meaning you'll see more sleeping husks, and patrols will spawn more often.
    • Be careful when approaching tents or shopping carts near sleeping husks. The Survivor will spawn in the middle of the sleeping horde and be at risk!
  • Smashers are rare but can spawn in this mission.
  • Health and Movement Speed pylons also affect Survivors health and movement speeds.
  • For RV roof Survivors, wait for the horde to spawn, then build an accessible ramp towards the Survivor, then a floor at the Survivor, to allow Monsters to directly attack the Survivor instead of the RV.
    • The Survivor will be invincible (not take any damage) as long the RV is not destroyed.
    • Place floors towards the Survivor that are anchored from an inaccessible spot, away from the Husks, with no way up.
      • If the RV is destroyed, the Survivor will run around on the floors until the Horde despawns, but will remain safe.
      • You can build a 1x1 box around the Survivor to ensure that it doesn't run off the walkway, and into the horde.
  • This mission type is the only one to offer 2x Survivor XP. Repeat it to gain a lot in an easy way.
Types of Survivors

Types of Survivors[]

  • 3 MED-Bot Survivors: These Survivors are found knocked down. A MED-Bot needs to be deployed to revive the survivor and requires 2 BluGlo to activate.

  • "Nedkit" Survivors: Find the missing Medkit which will have a proximity radius on the Map, and play an alerting sound when you are nearby.
  • RV roof Survivors: Time-based activity of approximately 40-45 seconds to defend the Survivor from the surrounding Monsters.
  • Car roof Survivors: Time-based activity of approximately 40-45 seconds to defend the Survivor from the surrounding Monsters.
