Raven is introduced in the Lie to Me Quest when Dennis is concerned about the "faceless man". He agrees to take a lie detector test by Ray, who wants to see if he can be trusted. The Commander helps collect Vital Sensors from the zone while Ray builds a lie detecting machine. When asked if he's "some sort of demon", he laughs in an intimidating tone and the lie detector dings before breaking. When asked why he came to Homebase, he responds with "Two. Guns". The machine dings positively before breaking yet again. When asked whose side he's on, he replies with "Mine". The machine dings and breaks again. Ray decides not to ask a last question, but welcomes him instead by saying that he's "different" and frightens "some of us". She adds that Raven is welcome if he wants to make Homebase his home, to which he growls. The results are inconclusive, and Raven decides to stay.

Bladey Acres[]

• At Shady Acres, Raven, Ray, and the Commander investigate a series of axes thrown by Slashers. Raven believes these axes signal a plea for help from the Slashers, interpreting their actions as signs of distress and self-loathing. Ray, however, is dismissive of their emotions, though she reluctantly agrees that the axes might indicate someone in need of assistance.
• Penny finds a poem from Big Sid, a notorious slasher, which leads her to reinforce her cabin after Ray warns her that the poem isn't a metaphor.
• Raven suggests Ray understand the Slashers' pain by reading pages from their journals that he has scattered. Ray is confused but reads the pages which reveal the Slashers' painful backstories and grievances against campers. This leads to a discussion where Raven reveals his personal connection to the Slashers and his own troubled past:

Journal Pages

Page 1 - "I never asked to carry this machete bag. I did not dream of becoming a camp maniac. I dreamed of seeing the world. And becoming a veterinarian. But the older kids tied me to the docks as a prank... and forgot I was there until well after the tide came in..." Page 2 - "No one sets out to become a slasher. You just fall into it, thinking it will be a phase. When your friends are getting married, having kids of their own... you're being chained to the boiler and left to die by the campers of the Owl Troop." Page 3 - "I was the caretaker of Camp Shady Acres for fifteen years. I poured my heart and soul into these campgrounds. But the campers could never see past my hook hand. Then came the summer Owl Troop lit my cabin on fire as I slept." Ray grows frustrated and asks, "What is the Owl Troop's deal?" Raven replies, saying that campers are all terrible. Ray, softening after reading the journal pages, disagrees, saying, "They are not." Raven counters, explaining that the campers were sent to spend the summer in the spooky woods by parents who clearly didn't care much about keeping them safe. Page 4 - "I long for the day I can once again raise my machete..." Ray abruptly stops reading and refuses to continue. She glances at the page again and asks, "What's an abattoir?" Raven informs her that it's a slaughterhouse, to which Ray adds, "Someone went to Bloodhaven." Ray asks Raven why he's so fond of "these creeps." Raven simply replies that they are his people. Ray then asks, "Aren't we your people?" Raven admits that Homebase fears him. Ray points out that it's because he makes "overlong eye contact and says things like, 'Soon...'", to which he then laughs maniacally. Page 5 - "I was born under a bad sign in the light of a blood red moon." Raven hesitantly stops Ray from reading, saying that it's his own journal entry. Ray continues, reading aloud, "I am a child of darkness and evil... But my fate is my own. I can change my path." Ray realizes why Raven wants to help the Slashers. Raven explains that the world has turned its back on his kind, adding, "You go on one rampage, and suddenly you're a monster." Ray agrees with the latter part, leading Raven to accuse her of being "antislashist." Ray confirms this, saying that slashing is "sad and gross and mean." She then admits that maybe they're wrong to give up on the Slashers.

• Ray announces a special camp for Slashers, urging them to behave and avoid attacking counselors. She emphasizes fun and preparation for an engaging camp experience.
• At the camp, Penny, Dennis, and Raven take turns telling spooky stories to the Slashers. Penny's attempts fail to impress, but Raven's stories resonate with the Slashers' experiences. Penny finally engages a Slasher with a relatable lunchroom story, showing a better understanding of their preferences.
• The Crew collects backpacks for hiking and host a canoe race. They then practice hatchet throwing on targets. The Crew then joins forces with the Slashers and takes down monsters with bladed weapons at the end of their camping trip.
