The Story Quests were a set of Quests in Fortnite: Battle Royale, available from August 12th 2025 to November 1st 2025. Story Quests were released in Chapter 6: Season 4 and rewarded players with 
Season XP.

We could use a little more of that right now. So if you're interested in joining up, consider this your formal welcome.

So... the big tentacle. First of all, try to ignore the smell.
We know the tentacle and the Swarm are able to access the Island from the Spirit Realm.
We're studying exactly how they do that, but we need more data. Like the location of their access point.
And probably more stinky specimens. Something to look forward to, right?

The tentacle and the bugs are able to get to us from the Spirit Realm without using a portal.
We're trying to figure out exactly how they do that. And where.

If my theory's correct, these eggs are Queen eggs, laid in the Spirit Realm and brought here.
If that's true, we can use their energy signature to weaken the Swarm's access point to the Island.
And if we're really lucky, I can reverse-engineer some way to use the access point too.
This egg might hold the key to accessing the Spirit Realm without a portal. And winning once and for all.

Yes, I was aware that Hope and Jones had cooked up another reckless, ramshackle plan.
Entering the Spirit Realm is, to put it mildly, ill-advised.
However, we have a dearth of remaining options. So if we must enter the Spirit Realm to survive...
(Sigh)... I suppose it's better than the alternative.

Something truly awful is coming to the Island. We can rise to meet it... or wait for whatever it brings.
Fighting the Dark Presence with the Splinter Blades feels a little like attacking a Great Turtle with a toothpick...
But maybe we'll be lucky. Every creature has some sort of soft underbelly, right?
