Overview
The Forest Biome is a green forest in the northeast part of Athena and north of Slurpy Swamp on Apollo in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Season 1 and was removed after Chapter 2 ended.

- Half the island is in the Forest Biome.
Season 6[]
- A Corrupted Area appeared temporarily.
Season 7[]
- Wailing Woods was covered in Snow during Ice King event.
- Wailing Woods starts to burn.
Season 8[]
- The Volcano and a jungle biome replace Wailing Woods
Chapter 2: Season 1[]
- With the new island, the Forest Biome can be found as Weeping Woods.
Chapter 2: Season 3[]
- Weeping Woods was flooded temporarily.
Chapter 2: Season 6[]
- A part of Weeping Woods is now Primal.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
- The primitive part of Weeping Woods disappears.
Chapter 2: Season 8[]
- Half of Weeping Woods is corrupted and becomes Wasted Woods
Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- The island has flipped over revealing Artemis, there is no forest biome on Artemis.
Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- In the Fracture Live Event, remaining Forests from Apollo were destroyed by The Herald offscreen.
