Bunker Chests are a type of Container in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced in Chapter 2: Season 6.
Functionality

Bunker Chests contain the same loot table as a Standard Chest, but contain much higher tier loot.
Bunker Chests contain a Weapon, Ammunition for said weapon, 30 of one type of material, a Utility Item, Miscellaneous Item or Healing Item, and Bars.
Bunker Chests could have been found in a variety of different locations, each with an 80% spawn rate:
- Sharky Shell.
- Pleasant Park.
- Near Pleasant Park.
- Sweaty Sands.
- Retail Row.
- Retail Row Bridge.
- Near Slurpy Swamp.
- Near Misty Meadows.
- Camp Cod.
- Shipwreck Cove.
- Craggy Cliffs.
- Weeping Woods Cabin
- Stack Shack.
- Near Boney Burbs.
- Steamy Stacks.
- Near Steamy Stacks.
- Pristine Point.
- Near Lazy Lake.
- Near Logjam Woodworks.
- Between Gas N’ Grub and Green Steel Bridge.
They can be interacted with by the player to open them, granting some XP. They take a standard amount of time to open. Chests can be located by the distinctive ambient noise they make, with a Rare Chest making a different sound to the normal one.

Bunker Chests will drop five items, that being a Weapon, Materials, Ammo, an extra item and Bars. Bunker Chests will only drop Weapons of Epic or Legendary rarity, and will not weapons of Rarities lower than those.
