There have been multiple ways to get featured in Fortnite: Creative over time. Below is a list of the current and past methods:

Discover, Genre Collection - User Interface - Fortnite

Discover/Creative Showcases

The Discover Menu allows players to have their creations featured in the main playlist selection menu. The menu highlight popular and newly released community-made games in Fortnite: Creative and UEFN. The modes displayed are tailored and personalised to each player and frequently change.

Creative Showcases were the previous system for discovering maps. These were playlists selected by Epic themselves, and featured directly on the playlist selection screen. Roughly two or three were shown at a time, and the modes frequently rotated to keep the selection fresh. A modern equivalent to this is Epic's picks in Discover.

Featured Hub (1) - Creative - Fortnite

The Hub

Introduced in Chapter 2: Season 1, The Hub remained an integral part of Creative up until Chapter 4: Season 3, when it was removed. The feature allowed the community to design the Creative Hub, where players spawned upon entering a Creative match, containing rifts that creators could set the destination of to access their islands. The Hub rotated once per week, and one hub would be active for all players at a time. At one point, the player who designed the hub could set a featured Creator Island, which would appear for all players in the hub.

The Block 2.0 - Promo - Fortnite

The Block

The Block was a special competition available from Season 7 to Season X that gave players the opportunity to design and have their custom locations featured on the Battle Royale Island. To participate, players had to select The Block island template and build their ideal location within the designated 25x25 grid. Many unique creations from the community were showcased throughout this event.
