Sniper Glare is a mechanic in Fortnite that was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 2.
Overview
Overview[]
Sniper Glare creates a large, visible white glare when a player is aiming down the scope of a Sniper Rifle or a weapon with the
Sniper Scope weapon mod. This can be seen by players from any range, alerting them to an incoming Sniper Rifle shot. Any weapon that has a
Sniper Scope, even if it is not a Sniper Rifle, will have glare. Additionally, the Lock On Pistol and Lock On Assault Rifle feature a red tinted glare while aiming, alerting players to shots that will be fully accurate.
