May 6th changes[]

Wild Week #1[]

Starting today, May 6, 2021, the Island will see the arrival of Wild Weeks. Each week, a unique gameplay dynamic will be emphasized — mixing things up and making you rethink your strategy. The first Wild Week? Fighting Fire with Fire.

Weapons + Items[]

• Unvaulted the Flare Gun
  • Available from chest and floor loot pool.
  • Also available from Blaze and Raptor for 400 Bars.
• Increased spawn rate for the Primal Flame Bow
• Added Firefly Jar to chest and floor loot pool.

Gameplay[]

• Increased fire damage from 10 to 15
• Fire now spreads faster than before.

Two favorites return! Unvaulted the Tactical Shotgun and Infantry Rifle.

• Unvaulted the Tactical Shotgun (Uncommon - Legendary)
• Unvaulted the Infantry Rifle (Uncommon - Legendary)
• Improved loot chances for fish spots, Supply Drop, and Bunker Chest - favoring Classic weapons.

Gameplay[]

• The chance of finding Crafting Parts in floor loot has been doubled (again!)
• Mechanical parts dropped from Cars increased by 50%.
