Chrome Husky

Overview

The Chrome Husky is a Husk Monster in Fortnite: Save the World that was introduced in Update v4.00 along with Blockbuster. It only appears during objective-defense missions during the Flannel Falls Venture Season, when the Questline is active.

Overview

Overview[]

Chrome Huskies are Huskies with a much higher defensive rating and a metallic, Chrome appearance. When their health bar is drained, they go into a DBNO state and become invulnerable for a short period of time, before self-reviving.

Their only weakness is a weapon with the Fire Fire or Water Water element. As such, the only way to fully eliminate a Chrome Husky in one attempt is to finish them off with a Fire or Water element weapon. Otherwise, they will continue getting knocked down and reviving themselves multiple times before finally being eliminated.

Chrome Huskies are removed from the spawn pool when completing the Magnets! Quest in the Blockbuster Questline. However, they may still spawn if other party or team members have not completed it.

Calculated - Emote - Fortnite This section outlines a strategy.
Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.
  • Chrome Huskies can self-revive multiple times depending on their power level if the final blow dealt to them is Physical, Energy, or Nature damage.
    • If the final blow is Fire or Water damage, they will be immediately eliminated.
    • You can use any damage to lower its health. Only the final blow matters in their revival mechanism.
  • Chrome Huskies are assassin mobs, meaning they do not target or attack the objective, only the player.
  • By leaving only Chrome Huskies alive and killing off all other remaining Monsters, no more waves of Monsters will spawn.
  • Downed Chrome Huskies are still valid targets for Hover Turrets, but not for T.E.D.D.Y.
