Overview
Anomalies are a Side Objective in Fortnite: Save the World. They are introduced in the Plankies Go Home Quest in Plankerton, and only appear in Missions of Power Level 28 or above.
Overview
Overview[]
Anomalies can be found most often on the outskirts of the map. They make a faint buzzing sound that can help lead players to their location.
An Anomaly is a purple stone which must be broken by the player, using their Pickaxe or with a Weapon. After an Anomaly has shattered, it splits into 3-4 Crystals, which are spread randomly in the vicinity. These Crystals can be at any height, often requiring the player to build up to them. Interacting one will remove and collect it.
When the player has interacted with all four of the Crystals to collect them, they will be rewarded
4 BluGlo and a small loot cache containing Ammo, Building Materials and Resources at the original site of the Anomaly.

This section outlines a strategy. |
| Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic. |
- Anomalies are potentially the quickest and most effective way of gaining BluGlo, as they take a few resources to complete, and are less time consuming than attacking a Troll or locating BluGlo.
- Anomalies are perfect for Missions that require BluGlo like Ride The Lightning and Fight the Storm as they drop the most BluGlo at once.
