The Gem Machete is an Epic type of Tool in LEGO Fortnite, that was added in Update v33.10.

Crafting[]
A Gem Machete can be crafted through the Crafting Bench by selecting which resource the player wants to use for the Blade and Hilt of the machete. The durability, knockback, and speed of the machete can be increased by using specific resources.

Chopping[]
Pressing attack while holding a Gem Machete inflicts 7 damage on any wooden-based material, such as trees or bushes and 21 on any plant-based material. Upon damaging a wood or plant based material, the Gem Machete's durability decreases by 1.
Weapon[]
Pressing attack while holding a Gem Machete inflicts 
7 damage on creatures. Upon damaging a creature, the Gem Machete's durability decreases by 1.
Runes[]
A Gem Machete can receive Rune slots and or specific Runes by using certain resources when crafting the axe.
