The Rune Forge recipe is unlocked once the player collects a  Granite Slab,

Building[]

The Rune Forge requires 10  Granite Slab.

Usage[]

Runes[]

The Rune Forge can be accessed by pressing the "Interact" keybind. It cannot be accessed if it is exposed while it is raining. Once opened, the player can choose a weapon or item they want to be upgraded with an rune. By pressing the "Roll Runes" keybind, three random Runes that the player has unlocked will appear. The player can either hold the "Reroll" keybind, which will give the player another three random Runes to choose from, but at the cost of 20  Essence, or hold the "Forge Rune" keybind, which will give the chosen weapon the rune, given the player has the necessary amount of essence needed for applying the rune. A weapon can only have up to three runes.

Essences[]

Before the Essence Table became the Rune Forge, if the player interacted with the station. The player could have chosen a weapon they want to be upgraded with an Essences. By pressing on one of the options and then pressing the "Apply Essence" Button in the bottom right, the Item would have been upgraded, given the player had the necessary items needed for upgrading the Item. A weapon could only have up to three essences.
