The Race Manager is a Device in Fortnite: Creative, added in Update v16.40.

This device coordinates more advanced racing modes and works in tandem with Racing Checkpoint devices.

Option Value Description
Race Circuit Name {Custom Text} The visible name of the race that players will see when they're in a race.
Number of Laps 1 Lap - 100 Laps How many times the player must complete the active sequence of Race Checkpoints in order to complete the race.
Start Race on Game Start Yes, No Determines whether or not the race will immediately start when the game is started.
Navigation Arrow On HUD Visible, Hidden Display the navigation arrow on the HUD during gameplay.
Display Checkpoint Markers Yes, No Determines if the device displays markers in-world and on the map where the next active checkpoints are located.
Navigation Arrow Fade-In Range 500, 100 - 10,000 How close to a checkpoint the player needs to be in order to show the navigation arrow.
Navigation Arrow Fade-Out Range 400, 100 - 10,000 How far to a checkpoint the player needs to be in order to hide the navigation arrow.
Display Race HUD Yes, No Determines if the race progress in displayed during the race.
Display Race Progress on HUD Yes, No Determines if the player's lap-based progress in displayed on the HUD. Displays total checkpoints if there are no laps.
Display Race Time on HUD Yes, No Determines if the total race time and the player's last tap time are displayed on the HUD.
Display Best Lap Time on HUD Yes, No Determines if the player's best lap time is displayed on the HUD.

On Race Completed Send Event To Event that occurs when a player finishes the race.
On Race Started by Manager Send Event To Event that occurs when the race is started by the race manager.
On Lap Completed Send Event To Event that occurs when a player finishes a lap.
On First Lap Completed Send Event To Event that occurs when player completes first lap.
