Chest Variations[]

Wooden Chest[]

The Wooden Chest offers a variation of world resources, healing items (or a throwable item), and a weapon with extra corresponding ammo.

Case Chest[]

The Case Chest offers uncommon weapons.

Rare Chest[]

The Rare Chest offers rarer Weapons than the Wooden Chest (spawns randomly, sometimes replacing Wooden Chests when placed).

Treasure Chest[]

The Treasure Chest offers one guaranteed legendary weapon, with the rest of the loot being the same as the Wooden Chest.

Ammo Box[]

The Ammo Box offers a variety of ammo.

Rare Ammo Box[]

The Rare Ammo Box offers a variety of, and more stacks ammo and sometimes a healing Item (spawns randomly when placing Ammo Boxes).

Freezer[]

The Freezer provides a Flopper, a Shield Fish, or a Small Fry.

Produce Box[]

The Produce Box provides a fruit (e.g. Apple) and a vegetable (e.g. Corn).

Heist Bags[]

Heist Bags have a chance to contain a Crash Pad Jr., Remote Explosives, Rocket Ram, some ammo, healing items, and a weapon.

Customizing a Chest[]

While there is no device that is currently released that lets you customize the loot pool of the chests, there is a way to make "custom" chests;

1. You'll need both the Tracker Device and Item Granter.
2. Go to the Consumables tab under the Creative tab and add anything you'd like to a chest. This item will unfortunately spawn with every chest.
3. In the Tracker, adjust the following settings as mentioned;
   1. Stat to Track: Chest Opened
   2. Target Value: 1
   3. When Target Is Reached: Do Nothing
   4. Show On HUD: No
   5. Increase Target Value When Receiving From: Item Granter : On Item Granted
4. For your Item Granter, you can select your loot pool by taking weapons from Weapons tab, or Ammo from Consumables tab.
5. Once you have your desired Loot Pool set the following for the Item Granter;
   1. On-Grant Action: Keep All
   2. Cycle Behavior: Wrap
   3. Drop Item at Player Location: Yes
   4. Ownership of Dropped Item: All
   5. Cycle To Random Item When Receiving From: Tracker : When Complete
6. Add your chest to your map from the Chest tab (if you haven't already) and playtest.
