The Borderlands Chest is a Chest in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Season X as part of the Fortnite x Mayhem (Borderlands 3) crossover. It was vaulted as soon as the event was over.

The Borderlands Chest can be opened or destroyed like other containers. This chest replaced all chest locations in Pandora and acted just like normal chests, with the difference that they dropped Cash. It gives metal when harvested.

These chests work like the normal ones, the corresponding loot pool from Season X. Additionally, they drop Cash.

Their appearance is taken from the green chests found in Borderlands 3.
It is one of the shortest-lived chests in the game; being around only for about 2 weeks.
