The Ball Spawner is a Device in Fortnite: Creative, added in Update 9.40.

Warning: This device has been removed from the Creative inventory, please refer the new Ball Spawner. It can only be accessed if you had already placed it on your island before it's removal

Spawns a ball with configurable properties when the game starts.

Device Settings
Option Value Description
Size Small, Medium, Large, Super Determines the size of the ball.
Type Default, Light, Heavy, Slick, Sport Specifies the type of ball to spawn.
Player Force Multiplier None, Low. Medium, High Determines how much force the player will apply when hitting the ball.
Player Knockback Amount None, Low. Medium, High Determines the amount of force applied to the player when the ball hits them.
Respawn Delay None, 0.5s, 1s, 2s, 3s, 5s Determines the length of time the spawner will wait to spawn a new ball after the previous one has been destroyed.
Gravity On, Off Determines whether gravity is applied to the ball.
Eliminate Player When Touched Yes, No Specifies whether the ball will eliminate players and destroy vehicles when it hits them.
Ball Material Default, White, Red, Yellow, Green, Grayscale, Chrome Sets the visual style of the ball.
Energy Shell On, Off Selects whether to display an energy shield visual effect over the ball. Purely cosmetic.
HUD Icon None, Badge Style Determines the type of HUD icon used for this device.
Friendly Team1 Neutral, Any, Hostiles, 1 - 100 Determines which team (if any) sees the HUD indicator as Friendly. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
Team Visibility1 Neutral, Friendlies, Any, Hostiles, 1 - 100 Determines which team can see the HUD icon. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
Icon Identifier1 None, Choose an Icon Assigns an icon to the HUD icon to make it identifiable. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
Display Distance Text1 No, Yes When showing as a HUD Element, also display the distance between the associated object and the player.
Clamp To Screen1 No, Yes When showing as a HUD Element, clamp the rendering position to be within the screen.
Requires Line of Sight1 Yes, No Determines whether direct line of sight is required to see the HUD icon. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
Hide HUD Icon at1 2M, 5M, 10M, 15, 20M, 30M - 500M Determines the distance at which the HUD icon will stop being visible. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
Hostile Icon Text1 {custom text} Specifies text to be displayed on the HUD icon for hostile players. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
Friendly Icon Text1 {custom text} Specifies text to be displayed on the HUD icon for friendly players. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
Neutral Icon Text1 {custom text} Specifies text to be displayed on the HUD icon for neutral players. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.
HUD Text Size1 1X, 1.5X, 2X Determines the size of text displayed on the HUD icon. Only relevant for Badge Style icons.

1 - Options with this are only visible when Badge Style is selected on HUD icon.
