Big Battle is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced on November 15, 2022.

LTM Rules and Gameplay[]
In this LTM, two teams that each consist of 40 players will eliminate all players of the opposing team. Each team has a Battle Bus, which fly in opposite directions. This LTM uses Zero Build rules meaning building is disabled and overshield enabled. The match starts with the Storm at phase 1.
Players do not respawn in this mode but go in a downed state where teammates can revive them.
