- Greeny is a 1959 model that was named after its first owner, Peter Green, who purchased the guitar in the 1960s and would most notably go on to become the founder of the band Fleetwood Mac. It is known for its distinctive tone due to its botched modifications. After passing through multiple owners throughout the decades, Kirk Hammett acquired the guitar in 2014 and has employed it both in the studio and live in concert since.
