Ryūji is an Epic Outfit in Fortnite that can be purchased in the Item Shop with the Ryūji Bundle for 
1,500 V-Bucks. Ryūji was first released in Chapter 6: Season 1 and is part of the Blade of the Dragon Set.

Why are there two different numbers for Ryūji's appearances? Ryūji has, on at least one occasion, appeared in more than one shop in a single day. This has resulted in its count for appearances in the Item Shop being higher than the amount of days it has appeared in it. Both counts are listed by the Fortnite Wiki in order to be as accurate as possible, unlike other sources. |

- Before Update v33.10, Ryūji's name and description were TBD. He also lacked official Outfit renders.
- Ryūji's name is inspired by Ryūjin, the Japanese god of the seas who is also a sea dragon.
- Ryūji himself is said to carry the heart of the lost sea dragon within him, although he doesn't know what that means.
- Ryūji stated he is duty-bound to help all creatures of the sea who need assistance, this reminds of Ryūjin's role as a tutelary deity.
- Ryūji helping a turtle (with The Looper) is reminiscent of Urashima Tarō's Japanese tale, where a kind fisherman of the same name saved a turtle and was rewarded with a visit to the undersea Ryūgū-jō (Dragon Palace).
- Ryūgū-jō is Ryūjin's palace in Japanese Mythology.
- Ryūji's sheath serves as a sheath for the Oceanscale Blade Pickaxe if both are equipped.
