Trivia[]

• Russel's design is based on his appearance in his Ident during Phase 3 of Gorillaz, as well as the music video for On Melancholy Hill.
  • Russel's hat is based on the fez he wore in a promotional piece during the same phase, as well as the music videos for Dirty Harry and DARE during Phase 2.
• Russel's description is a reference to Del the Ghost Rapper, who possessed Russel after he was killed in a drive-by shooting before Phase 1 of Gorillaz.
• In an interview with 1883 Magazine, it is implied that it was Russel's idea to add Gorillaz to Fortnite.^[1]
• Russel's rarity was changed from Epic to Icon Series in Update v37.20.
