- According to Michael Moy (Gildedguy), the idea of bringing the character into Fortnite came from "a higher-up" at Epic Games whose son was a fan of his animations, and wished to see Gildedguy in the game.[1]
- Gildedguy's codename "Dojo" is a reference to the stick figure community Hyun's Dojo which Gildedguy is a member of.
