Summer Escape was a Fortnite: Battle Royale event. It began on July 4th 2023, and it ended on July 18th 2023.

Summer Escape was mainly concentrated on Battle Royale. The main updates of this event were the quests: players could get free rewards if they completed them. The event lasted two weeks and the quests disappeared the final day. Some old items got re-added to the game and some parts of the map changed for the summer theme.

Every day for two weeks, a new quest got added at a specific time. Completing quests resulted into getting free rewards, such as XP, Back Blings or contrails. For the complete list of the Summer Escape Quests, please click here.

The main part of the map that has been changed for this event is Sunswoon Lagoon. It has been heavily decorated with various summer items as well as graffiti.

During Summer Escape, additional styles were added for already existing Outfits as well as new outfits being added during the update period. During the middle of Summer Escape, Purradise Meowscles was released on July 6th 2023, as part of the Chapter 4: Season 3 Battle Pass.

All Fortnite Crew subscribers who logged into Fortnite anytime during Summer Escape (July 4th at 9 AM ET to July 18th at 9 AM ET) would receive the Nanner Buddy Back Bling, created by D3NNI.
