Heat Level is a mechanic introduced in Chapter 4: Season 1. The Heat Level has 4 stages, the higher your Heat Level gets, the faster you can sprint and regain health but you are pinged to nearby players. Having a high Heat Level also makes the NPC's and Bosses more hostile against you.
