Abilities
Abilities[]
Drifting[]

Drifting is done by making a tight turn, which charges up a speed boost. The longer the drift, the longer the boost after straightening out. A Rocket Drift can be activated by drifting while holding the Rocket Drift button to make even sharper turns and provide an even larger boost.
Jumping and Flying[]

Various tracks have hazards which slow a player's speed if they hit them. These can be avoid by jumping, or holding down the jump button to fly. Players have a limited charge of jets so can only hold the jump button for a limited time. Tapping the jump button in short bursts allow a player to fly farther, or touching the ground can recharge their jets entirely.
Turbo[]

All cars have a Turbo meter that holds up to three charges. The meter refills over time, accelerated by drifting. Using a charge dramatically increases the car's speed. The player is prompted to press the Turbo button again shortly after using it to prolong their speed boost. Saving three charges and then using them in succession can allow players to achieve victory after being stuck in the middle.
Air Dodging[]

Cars can also attach to walls or ceilings while airborne if players indicate a direction while pressing the air dodge button. This can prove useful in avoiding various hazards.
