This page is a guide on how to progress LEGO Fortnite survival worlds.

In the early stages of the game, you should focus on getting Wood and Granite. It is recommended to build your first base in a Grassland, as the other biomes have stronger enemies and harsher weather. Start by building a campfire and a simple shack. Placing your workbench under a roof isn't required, but is strongly recommended, as they cannot be used it direct contact with rain. From there, you will be able to place a Village Square. If possible, place your Village Square nearby the Dry Valley, as this will be useful for later game progression. Watch out for desert creatures, as many of them can one-shot newer players.

As you level up your village, you can assign your villagers to certain jobs to help you gain and process resources faster. Certain characters are better at certain jobs than others (E.G. Beef Boss will take less time to make food than Meowscles). Most characters will hint towards which jobs they specialize in through their dialogue, so talking with your villagers is essential for early game resource gathering.

Occasionally, a Rift Butterfly may spawn. Following these will bring you to a chest or Llama, which contain useful loot for beginners.

Now that you've established your village, it's time to start exploring. While exploring, players should always have a villager travel with them (talk to them and the option to explore should be available). Villagers will help you fight and respawn if they die, so there's no reason not to bring one along.

Players should first explore the Grasslands, as most early upgrades require resources from this biome. Next, players should explore the Frostlands, as it's easier to explore than the Dry Valley. Carry a Torch in your offhand and eat Spicy Burgers to withstand the cold. Making Cool-Headed charms will be essential to exploring the Dry Valley, as it's very hot during the day. However, it will also become cold at night, so carrying items to heat yourself will also be necessary.

Keep exploring, fighting and gathering resources until you've fully upgraded your village and workbench. After that, you've completed the main tasks of LEGO Fortnite. However, you've barely scratched the surface of what can be done in this game.

Now that you've fully upgraded your village and tools, the real fun of LEGO Fortnite can be had.

You aren't just limited to one village in LEGO Fortnite. You can have an infinite amount of villages. In fact, it's advised to make at least one village in each biome, as certain features and builds are locked behind village progression in different biomes.
