Arena Boxfights is a gamemode released soon after the launch of Chapter 2: Season 6, Update v16.00. It is the first creative-based gamemode to reward Arena points. It has been removed as of Update v16.10.

  • Players spawn into a "lobby" of 16 players.
  • Once the game begins, players are moved to a box fight arena, fighting another player.
  • After a player kills their opponent, they wait until every other player's box fight is done.
  • This continues until it reaches Round 4, the final 1v1.
  • The winner of Round 4 is the winner of the box fight "tournament".
Points

Points[]

Eliminations do not give you any points, as you must eliminate your opponent to move to the next round. Getting to Round 3 gives you 30 points, and Round 4 gives you 50 points. This, as of now, does not alter your arena points, but it alters your Arena Boxfight points.

Fortnite has stated that the Arena Boxfight gamemode is going to be tested for 2 weeks, and further action will be taken from there. Changes after the trial period might include making the points gained in this gamemode contribute to one's arena points.
