Overview

The Trigger is a Device in Fortnite: Creative, that was introduced in Update v9.20.

Device Settings
Option Value Description
Activating Team Any, 1 - 60 Determines which Team can activate the trigger.
Allowed Class No Class, Any, 1 - 16 Determines which Class can activate the trigger.
Triggered by Player On, Off Whether or not to trigger this channel when the player gets within the proximity of this device.
Triggered by Damage On, Off Whether or not to trigger this channel when the object is damaged.
Triggered by Items On, Off Whether or not to activate the trigger when an item hits it. This includes dropped items and projectiles.
Triggered by Vehicles On, Off Whether or not to trigger this channel when a vehicle gets within the proximity of the device.
Triggered by Creatures On, Off Whether or not to trigger this channel when a Creature of Wildlife gets within the proximity of the device.
Triggered by Sequencers On, Off Whether or not to activate the trigger when it is touched by a Sequencer or RNG Device pulse.
Triggered by Water On, Off Whether or not to Whether or not to activate the trigger when it is touched by a Water device.
Activate on Game Phase None, Game Countdown, Game Start Set the device to activate in the selected game phase.
Times Can Trigger Infinite, 1 - 10 The number times this device can trigger before being disabled.
Transmit Every X Triggers 1 - 100 Determines the length of time the device will wait between being triggered and sending a signal.
Delay None, 1s - 20m1 Determines the length of time the device will wait between being triggered and sending a signal.
Reset Delay None, 1s - 20m1 Specifies the length of time the device must wait after being triggered before it can be triggered again.
Trigger Sound Disabled, Enabled Determines whether a sound is played when the device is triggered.
Trigger VFX Enabled, Disabled Determines whether visual effects are displayed when the device is triggered.
Visible in Game Yes, No Determines whether the device is visible during the game.
Receive Damage While Invisible Take Damage, Do Not Take Damage Whether or not object will take damage while it is hidden in a game.

Enabled on Game Start Enabled, Disabled Determines whether the device is enabled when the game starts.

1 - Delay times follow: 1s , 2s, 3s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 30s, 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 20m

Device Channel Settings
Option Value Description
Enable When Receiving From No Channel, 1 - 500 Enables the device on receiving a signal from the selected channel.
Disable When Receiving From No Channel, 1 - 500 Disables the device on receiving a signal from the selected channel.
Reset Times Triggered When Receiving From No Channel, 1 - 500 Resets the numbers of times the Trigger has been activated (to reset the 'Transmit Every X Triggers' and 'Times can Trigger' checks).
Trigger when Receiving From No Channel, 1 - 500 Activates this Trigger when you receive a signal from this channel (Cannot be the same channel this transmits on)
When Triggered Transmit On No Channel, 1 - 500 Transmits on the specified channel when the Trigger device is triggered. (Transmits when using any of the 'Triggered by').
