Marvel Standoff is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It is a limited respawn mode focused on eliminating all enemy team players to achieve a Victory Royale.
Gameplay
Gameplay[]
Marvel Standoff works similar to Marvel Takeover, in that you spawn with a superpower, and other powers drop from the sky in meteors for collection.
The game starts with two teams of 15, and both drop from the same Battle Bus. Players start with a Primary Superpower attack, and can locate other superpowers which fall from the sky as the match progresses. Both teams must work to eliminate the enemy team, and each player has 3 lives. Once your lives are out, you are out of the game. The Storm moves relatively fast and shrinks into one location.
Weaponry and Items[]
- There are no standard weapon or item pickups, and every drop is a superpower, which spawns from different meteors which then mark the power on the map.
- Every player spawns with a Primary Superpower.
Changes from Team Rumble[]
- There are no weapons or items, only superpowers to be picked up or swapped out.
- Players only have 3 lives each.
