Donut Storm is a Gameplay Mechanic in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced during Chapter 6: Mini Season 2.

DANGER! Falling food[]
After the second Storm circle closes, two donut storms spawns around Springfield Island, showing pink circles with a frosted donut icon at each center on the map, and they will last until the Storm Eye begin to shrink. When entering the Donut Storm, a warning pop-up will appear on top of the screen and giant frosted donuts falls down from swirling pink ring-shaped clouds in the sky. Each donut has a regular or rare loot chest, especially Mr. Burns Mystery Box, may be a physics prop, or even golden, which drops a Legendary Weapon and Bars. Falling donuts deal 100 damage to characters upon landing on top of them.
