Rue is a Rare Outfit in Fortnite that can be purchased in the Item Shop for 
1,200 V-Bucks. Rue was first released in Chapter 2: Season 2 and is part of the Lil' Red Set.

- Due to the controversy surrounding her attire, some people speculate that Rue may have been blacklisted from the Item Shop since May 27th 2020.
- Epic Games and official Fortnite accounts have not made a statement on this. Twitch Streamer Elded stated that she was among the few non-exclusive items that could not be chosen for a creator locker bundle, with most of the other non-usable items also being subject to controversy. However, this does not inherently make it impossible for her to return to the item shop.
- Rue still received a detailed LEGO® Style in Update v29.20.
- Her LEGO style removed her SHADOW Logo, while other SHADOW outfits still have theirs.
- Rue was among the first batch of Outfits to receive Fall Guys styles.
- Rue can be seen in the background of the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Official Cinematic Trailer at 0:18 in June 2022.
- Rue was shown very clearly in the foreground of an official Fortnite TikTok/YouTube Short "Giller Getaway" in January 2024.
- Rue's Pickaxe, Thorn, returned to the Item Shop on September 14, 2025.
