Removal and Reinclusion[]

Gemini was added to the files in Update v8.40. Fans started noticing huge similarities between her and the character Raeve Maeve, from the game Paladins. To avoid any law and copyright issues, Epic scrapped Gemini and recycled her into the Astro Assassin. At the beginning of Chapter 2: Season 5, Gemini's icons were added back to the files and in Chapter 3: Season 4, the rest of her assets. However, it's still unknown if she'll be released due to her similarity to Astro Assassin.

Trivia[]

• Gemini was slightly re-added to the files in Update v22.00, however this only includes textures and meshes, not the outfit itself.
• Gemini's renders (seen above) were accidentally displayed on the web version of the Item Shop on October 31st 2024 by going to Astro Assassin's outfit page, then to the Cryo Hops back bling and back to Astro Assassin. Upon going back however, it would redirect the user to the Gemini outfit instead. This error was fixed a few hours later.
