The Crossover is an event in Fortnite: Battle Royale that celebrates the collaboration with NBA. It began on May 19th 2021 and ended on June 1st, 2021.
Over the course of the week, it brings Item Shop cosmetics, a Team Battle and Creative Welcome Hub.

Main Article: Fortnite x NBA Team Battles Community Battles return yet again for the NBA. Between May 19-23, 2021, Fortnite players will have an opportunity to team up with any of the 30 NBA Teams to help them earn points in unique Challenges.
By placing highly enough, you can earn V-Bucks and in-game cosmetics. In addition to this, individual players can earn rewards for certain actions that help their team.

The Fortnite x NBA Creative Hub was available between May 25 - June 1, 2021.
New Cosmetics

Many new NBA Outfits will make their debut in the Item Shop on May 21st, 2021 at 8pm ET, including selectable styles for all 30 NBA Teams. Also arriving with them, the Hookshot and Dribblin' Emotes and the Mini Hoop Back Bling. All of these cosmetics will have their own Bundles for better prices!
In addition to all this, Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young will receive Locker Bundles throughout the week.
