Overview
Crystals are a type of Crafting Resource in Fortnite: Save the World. They can be found throughout all zones, and are used for crafting Weapons and Traps. They are found in Caves and on Mountains.

Quartz Crystal is found starting in Stonewood and remains a standard. Each zone will drop the most common Crystals for all missions within its normal level range (ex. High Canny – Mid Twine = 
Shadowshard Crystal).

- An additional reliable method to obtain these resources is by completing side objectives such as Storm Chests or locating Chests.
- Players can then recycle the rewarded weapons, which, depending on their durability, can provide a significant amount of Crystals.
- Glowing Loot Animals should never be ignored, as they drop a weapon or trap, along with two types of resources, which may include Crystals.
