Overview
FNCS 2024 - Major 2 (Chapter 5 Season 2) is the 18th season of the Fortnite Champion Series. This season continues the changes to the 2023 season, with 3 splits - Major 1, Major 2, and Major 3. This year brings a new qualifier system, with two open qualifiers (April 12th - April 21st) and an upper and lower bracket format for semi-finals (May 10th - May 12th). At its major tournaments, the best players from each region qualify for an international tournament that will determine this year's world champions.

- Scoring based on placement and eliminations.
- Top 2000 duos of the Round 1 in every region will advance to Round 2.

- The winners of the five games in Upper Rounds 1 and 2 advance to the Grand Finals.
- Duos that place 6th-25th on the leaderboard in Upper Rounds 1 and 2 qualify to Upper Round 3.
- Duos that place 26th-50th in Upper Rounds 1 and 2 will be relegated to Lower Rounds 2 and 3.
- Top 25 Duos in Upper Round 3 advance to the Grand Finals.
- Semi Finals - Lower Bracket: May 10th-12th, 2024
- Teams have 3 hours and 5 games.
- Scoring based on placement and eliminations.
- Top 15 Duos in Lower Round 3 advance to the Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals: May 18th-19th, 2024
- 12 games spread over two days.
- 6 games between the two days.
- Scoring based on placement and eliminations, with points multiplied by 1.5x on the second day of competition.
- Top Duos advance to Global Championship.
- If a duo has already qualified, their spot will be transferred to the closest placing duo that has not qualified.
