Overview
FNCS 2023 - Major 1 (Chapter 4 Season 1) is the seventeenth season of the Fortnite Champion Series. This season introduces the most massive changes to the FNCS system yet with an updated format. 3 splits - Major 1, Major 2, Major 3 - each having 3 weekly events leading to a major tournament. At its major tournaments, the best players from each region qualify for an international tournament that will determine this year's world champions.

- Top 50 duos cumulate of the Round 1 and 2 in every region will advance to Weekly Finals

- The five duos that earns a Victory Royale will advance to Grand Finals.
- Top 5 ranked team at the end of the Session to advance to the Grand Finals

- Top Duos advance to Global Championship Upper Bracket.
- If a duo has already qualified, their spot will be transferred to the closest placing duo that has not qualified.
