Overview
D-Launchers (short for Directional Launcher) are a gameplay mechanic in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced in Chapter 3: Season 4.

D-Launchers are a method of movement which launches players, moving them at quick speeds and negating all fall damage. Players are still allowed to move, shoot, and build after being launched from a D-Launcher. The launch direction are indicated of where the boarding platform is facing and by a light glow coming out. It is essentially the same function as the Air Vents, but more powerful.
Players can not build over or destroy the D-Launchers.
