Overview
Fishing Barrels are a type of container in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced in Chapter 2: Season 1.
Functionality

Fishing Barrels contain a bundle of items which are comprised of Fishing Rods, Pro Fishing Rods and Harpoon Guns. The barrel will contain 3-4 items, most of which are standard rods, but can contain a Pro Rod or a Harpoon Gun in replacement of one rod.
They can be interacted with by the player to open them, granting a small amount of XP. They take an short amount of time to open.
