Registration, Inviting Friends & Earning Rewards[]

Once registered and logged in to the Refer-a-Friend website, “referrers” can invite friends (“referees”) to earn points by playing Fortnite together. In order to be a referee, a player must have played less than 120 minutes of a core Fortnite Battle Royale game mode (i.e., Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squads) within the past 30 days.

Referrers and referees can earn points as outlined on the program website, but ways to earn points may include: playing a game of Fortnite together, earning eliminations in Battle Royale, or leveling up your Fortnite account. For clarity, if you participate in the program as a referrer, you will not be able to later participate as a referee (and vice versa).

Both referrers and referees need to be friends in-game to participate in this program. Only referrers need to register on the program website, but referees can still register if they would like to check their own progression.

Points earned by playing with a referrer/referee will accumulate until specific thresholds are met, at which point, the referrer and/or referee will receive the designated reward for meeting that threshold. For example, by completing the final challenge, which requires referrers and referees to level up their Fortnite accounts by 60 career levels, participants can unlock the Rainbow Racer Outfit! Please note that while referrers can participate with up to 5 different referees, each participant (whether a referrer or a referee) can only earn a reward once.
