Defender Squads

Defender Squads were a feature of Save the World prior to the Update v6.30. They were made up of a group of Defenders, characters with special attributes that increased defense to a zone's Storm Shield. Each Each of the four zones - Stonewood , Plankerton , Canny Valley , and Twine Peaks - could be assigned one Defender Squad and each Squad could only have one of each of the five Defender Types: Assault Rifle, Melee, Pistol, Shotgun, and Sniper. There were no Leaders in a Defender Squads.

Unlike Survivors, Defenders did not have personalities that needed to be matched in the squad. Like Survivors however, Defenders could be upgraded and came in different quality versions. The ability to use a Defender will need to be unlocked in the player's Skills.
